How to Become a Lender on Vaulted

Want to turn your wardrobe into a source of income? Becoming a Vaulted lender is quick, easy, and designed to keep you in control.

Step 1: Create Your Account #

  • Sign up [here] – it’s free and takes less than a minute.
  • You’ll need a valid email address and a few basic details to get started.
  • ID verification is required before you can list items .

Step 2: List Your Outfit #

Once you’re logged in:

  1. Click “List an Outfit” in the top menu.
  2. Upload high-quality photos (front, back, detail, and tag shots work best).
  3. Add brand, size, colour, condition, and original RRP.
  4. Set your rental price, booking terms etc.
  5. Choose shipping or local pickup options.

Step 3: Set Up Payments #

Vaulted uses Stripe for secure payouts.

  • Connect your bank account in your Lender Dashboard before your first rental goes live.
  • Payouts are automatic once your rental is completed.

Step 4: Accept & Send Orders #

When your item is rented:

  • You’ll get an email notification to confirm the booking.
  • Ship the outfit promptly using tracked delivery or arrange local pickup.
  • Vaulted keeps renters updated along the way so you don’t have to.

After the Rental #

  • Once your item is returned and marked as received, your payout is processed.
  • You control your listings – pause, update, or remove them anytime.
